I’m so sorry for your families loss. Dave was such a great guy and was always so much fun to be around. I’ll never forget when him and Chad almost burnt the cabin down :). I am so glad that we got the chance to be around him, I know that he was an amazing Uncle and those kids will miss him so much. He definitely left a great impact on those he came in contact with. We are praying for your family.

I never met David personally, and most of what I know of him I learned from his father, who always spoke proudly of David and his accomplishments, especially how David served his country in the Army Special Forces. I did however, speak with him on the telephone once. David took it upon himself to call me because he knew he could help a friend of his father. This speaks volumes about a person when they are willing to help someone they don't know. From that one short phone call I learned that David was a caring and giving person, who was willing to help someone he had never met. From that call, I also learned that David had a huge sense of humor and he seemed very outgoing. I regret that I did not get to meet him in person, to get to know him better, and to thank him personally for that one phone call. David, you will be missed.

I have such fond memories of laid back conversations with David during his visits at Kathy & Johns. He was so proud of his red mustang & was forever polishing it. Many of our chats were on the driveway as he pampered the car. While sometimes his visits were further apart we were always able to pick up where we had left off. It was clear how much he loved his family and enjoyed sharing stories of growing up as well as telling stories and sharing pictures of his nieces and nephew. I am praying for you all during this very sad time.

RIP David. You all have always been in our hearts, but even more so now. I remember him working at wawa and always being greeted with his bright warm smile when we stopped in on our way to Rices. He was always genuine. We love you guys.
