Condolences for Thomas D. Reese, Sr.

Stephen PecararoSaturday, May 1st

My heart goes out to all the Reeses...each and everyone of you were like a second family to me and John. We enjoyed all our time at the farm - especially our evenings by the rails where Tom would regale us all with his wonderful stories and funny? jokes...gone but never forgotten.

Mike and Karen StengelMonday, May 3rd

Our prays are with Tom. He is now with his beloved wife Pat. The two of them welcome Karen and I to NYC right during the Gulf War. Tom was always supportive of us and we could have never accomplished what we did with our his mentoring us R.I.P. Tom

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about Tom's passing. He made an powerful and positive impact on my life when I worked at Hersha, when he was President. He really lifted me up, believed in me and gave me responsibility and an opportunity to perform and interact with him at a high level. I was so intimidated by him when I first interviewed for the job. After I started working at Hersha, he found me at a meeting and said hello and sat down with me, talked to me about my wife, my soon to be born son... all of it was in front of a lot of people that were all wanting to talk with him. But he really focused on me, it made me feel really special. He had such a genuine care, which showed up all the time. He asked me to be a part of the opening team for the Homewood Newtown, and he I knew how much that hotel meant to him. I was proud to work with him and never, ever forgot how much I enjoyed being around him. I send you all my love and positive thoughts. I think of Tom often and I will continue to do so. Thank you for allowing me to send these thoughts to you.

Going back know, Mr. Reese was the second general manager I had ever worked for when coming to NYC . His long lasting impression has stayed with me throughout my culinary career. I have quoted his
Mannerism and work style throughout my time. Always saying back in the Marquis the General Manager had the place running like a clock . Mr. Reese you will be Sadly missed , your that last of an
Era. Rest In Peace, in that big Hotel ion the Sky. Look down on the future General managers giving cards
God Bless🙏🙏🙏🙏

I just heard the news of Tom Reese Sr. passing. I am just heartbroken. He was the most intelligent, generous man I had ever worked for when I was in the Executive Office at the NY Marriott Marquis. I learned so much and remember our talks and his wise advice fondly. Tom and Pat were wonderful people and will always be in my heart. My sincerest condolences to his sons and family. Nancy Kelly

To the family of Tom Reese,
even though we were unaware that Tom had died in 2021 we recently just found out.
My wife often walks at the Doylestown cemetery with her dog, and she saw their gravestone. We send our sincerest condolences and sympathy. Tom was a wonderful man. We knew him when we lived in new Hope and he had many fundraisers for Scott Petri.
It is always the most difficult passage on our parents pass from our mortal lives. But they are both in heaven, watching from above.
In Sympathy, Joseph and Trish Hebert
