Condolences for Regina B. Kohl (Begans)

Dianne and Bill BabicsFriday, November 6th

Regina was the creme de la creme, as we Academy girls, were reminded every day.
Regina lived her life exemplifying the true meaning of those words.
Kind, patient, endearing and more than intelligent, wise beyond her years.

All brides are beautiful on their wedding day.
Regina is the only bride I know who designed and sewed her own wedding dress.
Her creative genius would provide our grandchildren’s Halloween costumes.

Regina was huge in our lives. Our families would gather together frequently and always at holidays.
We were a group that did party hardy.
Just to mention a few-
Christmas parties with the inevitable Christmas keg and savory feasts;
Graduation party for Valedictorian , Jeff, where Brett and Conrad trotted off to the neighbor's;
Counselor Catherine had to defend them;
U Penn days - Football, "J-E-F-F, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, throwing toast , "Drink a Highball",
Basketball at the Palestra;
2004 Magna cum Laude
BS in Engineering
BS in Economics Wharton School
October 14, 2009
Jacqueline Elyse Scena and Jeffrey Mark Kohl are married
Reception at Scotland Run Golf Club.
Smiles and merriment abound; Regina had the biggest smile of all.

Mad Hatteras
A circle of fun journeying through college, couple, baby, teen summers
Fishing-"Crazy Mike"
Regina, Mom and Jeff at MH during a tornado warning
A tad or two to the tune of the noon whistle
Ocean days, party days.

We lived and loved with our time with Regina.
Regina, AR, GAR, Aunt Regina, Unca Gina, she answered to all.

She loved most answering to Grandma.

Regina was everything great that a human being can be. She was gracious, kind, fun, creative and, most of all, loving to everyone. I will never forget her and am privileged to have known her warmth and light. Mark- I am with you in spirit and love you very much. Each night I say a prayer for you and your beloved Regina. God bless you both. Love, Jess

Please accept my belated condolences on the loss of the amazing Regina. She was the most kind, patient and loyal friend. Life took us to far away corners of the country after high school. The date for our 50th high school reunion was just announced (July 2022), and so I thought I would try to find her. Never did I imagine I would find her gone.
