Condolences for Karen A. Shores (Klimesh)

Rhonda HiettMonday, September 21st

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this sad time. I met Karen a few years ago when I came to the BCIU to work. She was such a sweet, kind and helpful lady. She would always answer your questions with a smile.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Karen's family at this very sad time. I worked with Karen at the IU for 20 years or so. She was always so helpful and friendly to everyone. When she asked if I'd like to take a quilting class with her, I jumped at the chance, and our friendship deepened as we attended many more classes and set our creativity soaring. I was sad to hear she passed as I thought she would beat this dreaded disease. Always remembered, never forgotten. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I was so sad to hear Karen passed away - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I worked with Karen at the Bucks IU for many years. Karen and I enjoyed walking at the parks and other places - she was a great gal. Sending my deepest sympathy.

Sorry to hear of the passing of my dear cousin, Karen. My sincere condolences to her family.
We spent many hours together growing up in Iowa and always had an enjoyable time.
Due to the fact that we have moved in different directions I have not had the pleasure of her company for years.
Rest in Peace!

Karen and I are first cousins. Her Dad, Charlie was the eldest of 8 kids and my Dad, Godfrey, the youngest. Despite that, we were only a year apart in age. Karen lived in Spillville, a few houses from our Grandmother Klimesh, and I in Calmar, 5 miles away.
I loved to go to Karen’s house because as young girls, we could run freely between houses. What fun we had..... What fun Karen was!
Now, she is in heaven, running freely between relatives and friends and chatting them up. Telling them about all of the chaos down here on earth!!!
Linus, Carla, and Brian, use this difficult time in your life to remember the good things you all shared. Know that she has not really left you, she has simply gone ahead to make a place for you. She WILL always be with you.
My deepest Sympathy!
