Condolences for David Fry
My condolences to the Fry family. Remember Mr. Fry from Tennent (Class of 1974). Nice man and always cared about the students. Thoughts and prayers with the family.🙏🙏🙏
Very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Fry. There are many people who pass in and out of your life throughout your school years and some are just special as he was. I have remembered him fondly over the years and always with a smile on my face. He always had time for his students and you could tell he always truly cared. He was a true mentor and a kind man. My condolences to his family and I thank him for all he did for myself and his students.
My condolences to Mary and Dave's daughters. I was blessed to have Mr. Fry as a teacher, a coach, a mentor but more importantly a friend. I'll cherish the time last year when I had the opportunity to have lunch with Mary and Coach; sharing old memories. Through out my life/career I always remembered his positive influence on me and I tried to always mirror his guidance and solid advice. Coach will be missed by many, especially me. Friends come and go. Good friends leave a footprint on your heart. RIP Coach.
Mr. Fry was outstanding. He truly cared for the students and staff and would always make time for them. A man with a heart of Gold who lived with a Christ-like demeanor. He had an open-door policy for the students, if you needed to pour out your heart he would listen and guide you into making your own decisions. He will be missed by so many.
Dave was my administrator for many years. I knew I could depend on him for being fair and supportive when needed.
My prayers and condolences are with the family at this difficult time.
Please accept my sincere condolences to Mary, Mr. Fry's children and family. I was blessed to have Mr. Fry as a teacher, coach and mentor in my early years in the Bristol Twp. School District. Mr. Fry was one of those teachers/coaches that you wanted to emulate; and through his example, I became an educator/administrator and coach as my career choices. I too, as Gene Saxman mentioned, enjoyed our lunch last year with Mary and Dave, rehashing old memories and sharing our lives with him. We would always shoot foul shots, play ping pong and the winner would win a soda from the other. I believe I still owe him a few cases of soda!! His impact on me as a young boy/man helped my journey working with young students/athletes throughout my career. He will always be remembered with a sincere respect and kindness. RIP
Coach Fry!
Please accept my condolences on Mr. Fry’s passing; it must have resulted in a painful vacuum in your fine family, which I’m certain was his proudest achievement. I graduated from WTHS in 1973 so my relationship with him was limited to a single academic year. However, in that year, Mr. Fry was one of very few WTHS coaches/teachers/administrators to offer the quality of advice necessary to prepare me for both intercollegiate sports (baseball) and academics at the Naval Academy. In Mr. Fry’s instance, such was always provided with a smile and kind words - a technique I have tried to emulate in many years of military and government service. RIP Mr. Fry - you were a total gentleman, and a superb leader and example for us all.
