Condolences for Michael J. Dacey

Janice ODonnellMonday, July 20th

Mike was brother in law for almost 40 years but really he was my brother. He dated my sister Kathie since I have been 15 years old. What I remember most is his sense of humor and being a really great buddy to my Dad. They both loved the Eagles and their families and were more like Father & Son. Mike spoke at my Mothers Funeral Mass and had the entire church in tears. When my Father died 3 years later he was overcome with grief to even attend the Funeral. Mike had a heart of gold and was there for the ODonnell Family & the Dacey Family. I know that Kathie, Andrew, Marissa, Shane & Liam will miss him everyday but they all have only Great Memories to keep Mike alive in their hearts. I’m raising a glass of beer to you Mike and will miss you!

Kathie and family, Cindy and I are heartbroken to hear of Mike's illness and passing. We feel so blessed to have known Mike and experience his humor, big heart and his love of life. I know there's nothing we can say to help the pain you all are feeling but please know Mike's memory will live on. Our kids all have heard the Mike Dacey stories. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers . Love

Fr. Joseph F. Connolly, TORWednesday, July 22nd

Dear Dacey Family,
My sincere condolences on the death of Michael. He was one of the fine young men who traveled the halls of the Old Bishop Egan High School, and left an indelible mark on me as a teacher. He was a good student, gentleman, and leader among his peers. I know that the Lord Jesus welcomed him to heaven and will bless you with the wonderful memories of the times you spent together. May he rest in peace.

KATHY & FRED CANTAGALLOThursday, July 23rd

Dear Kathie and family, the Cantagallo family is saddened to hear of Mike's passing. We feel so blessed to have met you and Mike in Sea Isle City.
Mike's sense of humor and love of life was infectious and so endearing. Boy could he tell a good joke! Please know that we will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers, not only today but in the days to come. With sympathy and love, Fred and Kathy Cantagallo
