Condolences for James J. White

Gerry HennellyTuesday, June 30th

I’m so sorry Jim won’t be with us this summer. I always looked forward to his arrival to start the season. He will be missed by his friends & neighbors in Ocean City. I think Jim was a super person and someone who was always there to cheerfully bring a smile to everyone he met.

Pop Jim was the greatest grandfather ever! He was always at all my sports games, dance recitals, and award ceremonies. When he came to visit we would always make up the most creative games. I remember when we would play bank and I would sit in the car and I would pretend he was the customer. He always kept winter green mints in his car because that was my favorite. He would drive me in his car with the sun roof open around the neighborhood while I had my head stuck out. We have traveled so many places with him Avalon, Ocean city, Disney World, Marco Island, and New York City. Holidays are another thing I would look forward to, especially Christmas. On Christmas in the morning I would wake him up first and usually he would tell me that It was too early to go back to sleep, so he would make me lay with him till it was time to open presents.

CONT...Over the years I have created so many special memories with him and I cannot wrap my head around what happened. I am really blessed that I got to be with him for as long as I got to and I am also glad for being able to get one last birthday call from him. My birthday was the Friday before he passed away. I am thankful he is not in pain anymore and is resting in heaven with Mom Mom Virginia and my dog Zoe who he loved so much. Also he will get to be with his favorite beagle named Spot who no one else in the family liked, but him. I could go on forever talking about him and all the stories he has told me. Rest easy Pop I will always LOVE and think about you until the day I die and are reunited with you in heaven. Love your first granddaughter, Madeline Elizabeth
XOXOXO

We are so very sorry for your loss of a very special and kind man who we were lucky enough to call our friend. We have known Jim for years as our dear friend and accountant. Please know that he loved you all so much and always shared great stories of the grandchildren and caught us up on all the family trips and celebrations. He was so proud of all of you.
May he rest in eternal peace and be able to now join his sweet Virginia. We feel very blessed to have crossed paths with him in our lives.

I consider myself to be a very lucky person to not only have 1 father, but to be blessed with 2 when I married Jim. When I started dating Jimmy and met James and Virginia they opened their arms to me as part of the family. He treated me as his own. I will always hold close the memories we made together as a family. Our proudest moment was when we made him a Pop Pop to Maddie and Lindsey. He was the doting grandfather that every little girl dreams of. We are blessed with the memories we have made together at the zoo, the beach, holidays in Florida, trips to NYC for Christmas, the pumpkin patch, and the list goes on and on. Pop was always the girls biggest cheerleader at their sporting events most recently cheering Lindsey on at her basketball championship in March. James had a way with animals and when he came to visit Lilly and Zoe, our Westie's never left his side. Even tough you are no longer with us, you will live forever in my heart.

Emma and I have just heard of the sad news and want to offer our condolences to all of Jim's family. He was a great friend as well as an accomplished CPA !!!
We will miss Jim at the shore as we always looked forward to going swimming together at the 53rd street beach.
We are also sorry that we will be unable to attend, as receiving the news late, we cannot travel from Ocean City to Newtown, PA in time for the Mass.

I am so very sorry and shocked to hear of the passing of James! I was at St. Andrews for mass , and heard his name mentioned, and just searched and found his obituary. I was just there to him in March, as he has been my acct. for numerous yrs!
I am saddened for all of you!
He was a very nice gentle man.
I had no idea he was sick.
He was the only one who did my taxes.
If you could contact...I would appreciate. I sympathize with all of you.
I remember when your mom died...I was sad for him.
Warm regards.
Marlene

Dear Family of Jim White,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of the death of your beloved Father. Jim was our Accountant for 35 years. Even though he only visited once or twice a year, we came to think of him as a good friend and it seemed as though nothing changed year to year. He never failed to take an interest in the lives of our children and grandchildren. We were unaware that he was ill and sorry we weren't there to pay our respects at his funeral. We will miss him and his warm and happy smile. Our very sincere condolences to your family.

With love,
Skip and Kathy Suchoski

I was trying to contact Jim to have our taxes done as we have done for the last 32 years. When the phone was disconnected, I looked online and was so sad to see that he passed way over the summer. I wish I had known so we could pay our respects. He was a wonderful man.. He was friendly, funny, and a great accountant. We will miss him dearly.
