Condolences for Lynne B. D'Angelo (Zimmerman)

Fern d'ArcySaturday, June 20th

Mrs. D was our sons 1st grade teacher. She was an AMAZING person & teacher. She always took the time to explain, and nurture. Our son has ADHD, which we suspected. Mrs. D confirmed it in such a loving, non threatening, caring way. Mrs. D will be missed.
Fern & Bill d'Arcy
P.S. Our son is going to be 20 In August
Thank you Mrs. D

My sincere thoughts and prayers to the family at this difficult time. I knew Mrs. D'Angelo when she was Miss Zimmerman and my gym teacher at Shafer Middle School. I am 51 years old now. It was great to see Mrs. D'Angelo at Valley Elementary when my son, who is now 15 years old, went there. You were an amazing teacher!

Mrs. D was my 7th grade health teacher in 1989. She was warm, kind, and forgiving of the 7th grade knucklehead that I was. Often moved me to the front of the room and joked that I owed her lunch. Always treated me like a person. I later became a Bensalem teacher in 2000. She let me know how much she believed in me and that she wasn’t surprised that I turned out alright. Then in 2013, she became my son’s 1st grade teacher. She is one of the most inspiring to ever teach in Bensalem Township. Beautiful person and will be missed. Prayers and condolences to her family.
Sincerely,
The Schram Family
