Condolences for Robert Jay Merritt

Steve McClureSunday, May 24th

My sincere condolences go out to Dee Dee and family. I was so fortunate to be introduced to Bob back in early 1974 when he interviewed and hired me at MHLC. During those early years Bob was quite instrumental in my development and growth and I will always revere Bob's integrity and positive attitude. We worked together for 35 years.

DeDe and family: Please accept my deepest sympathy for Bob's death. I just learned about it through MHLC alumni. I first met Bob in 1975 and always enjoyed his sense of humor and camaraderie. He will be missed.

Deepest sympathies to Dee and Bob's family. Bob was a "Boy of Summer, " a 7th grade classmate who remained a close, highly valued and beloved friend for more than six decades. His unique style, sharp sense of humor, and athletic grace will never be forgotten by those of us who were fortunate to be his companions and co-conspirators in a lifetime of special memories.

I knew Bob as we met in my employment firm so many years ago. I did not know of Bobs passing.
I placed Bob at First National City Bank and was his neighbor for some time in New York when we were both single.
Dee Dee I remember you having dinner together with Mike and Julie years ago in Manhattan .Bob was always kind and friendly
to all who knew him. I was proud to play a small part in his early career. Bobs Brothers firm was our Law firm years ago so we always had a connection.
I am truly sorry for his passing but was proud to know him.
