Condolences for Frederick L. Porter

Louise (Sis) Baughman-Brown-LucasSaturday, May 23rd

Carita, Adam, and grandchildren, It is with my sincerest sympathy, in the loss of your Mom and Dad. When I heard the news of losing your Mom, my heart was broken for Fred and you both. The obituary for both of them was beautifully written. It reinforced what I always knew about Fred. I only met Roe one time, but I knew they were lifelong partners. You both were blessed to have such wonderful parents and true servants of God, family, community and country. I know it will take awhile to smile from this deep loss, but rest in knowing many are praying for comfort and peace to you both. Louise Lucas

Fred and I graduated from Rocky Grove. He was 2 years ahead of me. Our mother's were co-workers in the cafeteria. I've always been glad we were in the same group that "hung out" together . My thoughts and prayers for your family accompany this message.

Hope McCannTuesday, May 26th

Dearest Carita and Adam,
This is your cousin Hope. It is with a very heavy heart that I send you my deepest sympathies. Rosemary and Fred were a remarkable couple and I loved them both so. I was at a loss for words when your mom died but now want to share my thoughts with you. Your father was a favorite in-law cousin to me and always without exception, made me feel his love for all our family. This went way back to when we visited them in Williamstown, PA. He was a gift to us and wish we could have been in his company more frequently. As for your mom, well what can I say...when my mother,Aunt Freda was ill in the last ten months of her life, while she resided with me, Rosemary sent her multiple cards and called her almost every week. This was at a time when she had not enough sight to read or watch TV. Her contact was so unexpected but Freda and I both appreciated it so very much. The last time we had a long conversation was when I called her to compare her "PLAZCEK" to ours and she was tickled that I called and I will always cherish that chat. God Bless you both and your families and please trust that they are not really gone from you. Many thoughts of love surround you at this time.
