Anne V. Linkewich (Antonelli)

Anna “Anne” Linkewich of Newtown, PA, formerly of Churchville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Jeanes Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia on February 14, 1945 to the late Joseph and Eva Antonelli.

After Anne graduated from Frankford High School she worked as an administrative assistant at Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. In 1968 she married her childhood sweetheart, Joseph Linkewich and had four children over the next 12 years. She was a congregant of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Richboro for 43 years being actively involved in the Women’s Club and working in the St. Vincent Nursery School. She retired from the Council Rock School District in 2003 with her last position being an administrative assistant in Special Services. In 2015, Anne and Joe moved from Churchville to Newtown and to St. Andrew Parish.

Anne’s life was centered on her family; all members remaining geographically close. She is survived by her husband Joseph Linkewich of 56 years; four children, Matthew Linkewich and wife Kristin, Edward Linkewich and wife Kristen, Michael Linkewich and wife Kelly and Amy Englert and husband Jonathan; she was Nonna to Alison, Scott, Kira, Ella, Harrison, Mia, Kyle and Wesley.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, October 29th from 10am-11:30am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA. A funeral mass will follow. Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers consider making a contribution to either St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at https://saintvincents.net  or St. Andrew Catholic Church at https://www.standrewnewtown.com (parish offering) to be used in their programs to help those financially in need.
