Henry W. Gerstle Jr

Henry W. Gerstle Jr, of Southampton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 10, 2024, aged 91 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Katherine M. Gerstle (nee Liuzzi), grandchildren: Anne Ullestad and her husband Matthew, Stephen Cheney, his brother, Alan Gerstle as well as nieces and nephews. He is pre deceased by his daughter, Patricia Ann Cheney, parents, Henry and Alice Gerstle and his sister, Suzanne Collins.

Henry was born in Philadelphia, and went on to serve in the Army during the Korea conflict after highschool. He retired as a plant engineer and loved to travel the world with his wife, Katherine. His favorite destinations being Italy and China. He was a loving father and grandfather who adored spending time with his family. He was a devoted and attentive husband; they were a true example of love and care for one another. Henry was known to always be busy: he loved to tinker with new projects, build model airplanes, or take Katherine on impromptu car rides. His loving, adventurous and nurturing qualities will be missed by all who love him.

 Family and Friends are invited to attend a Viewing on Friday October 18, 2024. 5:00-7:00pm at Joseph A Fluehr Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd, Richboro, PA 18954 (on the corner of Holland Rd). A prayer service will begin at 7:00pm. Interment to follow on Saturday October 19, 2024, 11:00am at Doylestown Cemetery 215 E. Court St, Doylestown, PA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cancer Research Institute and M.S Society.
