Joan W. Gormley (Wagner)

Joan Gormley (nee Wagner), of Warminster, previously of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, aged 94 years. She is reunited with her late husband of 65 years, Jack Gormley. She is survived by her loving children: John Gormley and his wife Susan, William Gormley, Jean Gormley Drabinski and her husband Walter, Daniel Gormley and his wife Candyce Chimera; grandchildren: Christopher and his wife Savannah, Matthew, Nicole, Shaun and Daniel. She is also survived by her cousin and dear friend, Helen Helmuth.

Joan was a warm, kind, independently minded woman ahead of her time. She had a commanding presence when she walked in a space, making her recognizable in a crowd. She was social and made enduring friendships in all the activities in which she was involved, most recently The Red Hat Ladies. In her younger years, Joan and her husband Jack loved to travel and visit friends from around the country.  She was an honest person and loved to speak her mind and share her opinions and thoughts on different subjects. Joan was a supportive, and loving mom and Gram, and loved to create a space for her children and friends to feel a part of their home. Her memory will always be cherished.
