Catherine T. Anderson

Catherine T. Anderson of Elkins Park, PA and formerly of Southampton, PA died peacefully at Jefferson Abington Hospital surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Thursday, September 26, 2024.  She was 31 years old.

Catherine was the beloved wife to Kevin E. Leahy, MD.

Born in Elkins Park she was the loving daughter of Charles Anderson (Robin Ford) and Bernadette Seebacher Anderson (Manfred Block).

Catherine was a graduate of William Tennent High School and Holy Family University and worked as a Registered Nurse with an additional Masters in Nursing Education.  She worked at MossRehab and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and was a two-time DAISY Award winner for the extraordinary care she provided to patients as well as their families.

She was an animal lover, voracious reader, and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

In addition to her husband Kevin and her parents Charles and Bernadette, Catherine is survived by her brother Charlie Anderson, her adoring father and mother-in-law James and Ellen Leahy and sister-in-law Kristen Leahy.  She is also survived by numerous cousins, foster and step siblings, and countless friends.

Catherine’s family will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00am until her Funeral Service 1:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will be private.
