Ellen M. Jonczak (Fitzpatrick)

Ellen M. Jonczak, 81, of Southampton, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Falato and the late Albin R. Jonczak.

Born on June 27, 1943, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Collins) Fitzpatrick. At the age of 12, her family moved to Neshaminy Woods in Bucks County. Ellen overcame a lot of adversity in her life. She was active in both the Neshaminy and Bensalem Senior Centers and participated in Quilts for Kids. She greatly loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved nature, crafts, sewing, and completing Word Search puzzles. She particularly loved her parakeet, Smokey. Sadly, Ellen was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in May of 2023. She fought the disease with grace and dignity, persevering with a spirit that was inspiration to all. She is very loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her three children, Rocco Falato (Karen), Maria Elena Dryden (Michael), and Reid Jonczak (Karin). Ellen has six grandchildren, Garrett (deceased), Brittany (Alex), Quinn, Caitlin (Austin), Jerry, and Joe, as well as two great-grandchildren, Rhett and Elena.
