Cynthia "Cyndy" A. Clapper (Crane)
Cynthia A. Clapper nee Crane, of Southampton, was called home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 22, 2024. She was 85 years old. Cyndy was the loving wife to the late David Reid Clapper.
Born on September 30, 1938, in Philadelphia, Cyndy was the daughter of the late Utley E. Crane and Elizabeth Malsbury Crane, and the sister of Philip U. Crane and the late Janet E. Baily. She was also the loving aunt of Linda Ashby and her husband Bob, Edward Crane and his wife Daisy, James Crane and his wife Stephanie, and William Crane. She will also be fondly remembered by eight grandnieces and nephews.
Cyndy is fondly remembered for her fun and loving spirit, her many travels around the world, her interests in playing BINGO, bridge and Mahjong with her many friends, her hospitality to others and her love of pets. She had a very special bond with Bailey Button (Ashby), a cavalier, formed over the past year as she would visit with her family on weekends while residing at the Spring Lane Memory Ward at Southampton Estates.
Family and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at the intersection with Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, followed immediately by her Memorial Service. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown promptly at 1:30pm.
A light luncheon/reception will follow at Ivyland Presbyterian Church, 51 Gough Ave, Ivyland, PA 18974 at 2:30pm, allowing travel time for those attending the Washington Crossing service.
