Lois Eggert

Lois M.(Worthington) Eggert, 81, of Quakertown, peacefully passed away September 13, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Eggert, who passed away in September 2023 and the loving mother of the late David C Eggert, who passed away in July 2000.

Born February 22, 1943 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Elva (Guhl) Worthington and sister of the late Barbara (Worthington) Skalski.

She graduated from Lincoln High school in Philadelphia. She met her soulmate Rich while walking down the avenue. She saw him working at a gas station and just knew he was the one for her.

She worked at a bank for a few years and then left to become a mother. She welcomed her pride and joy, David, in March of 1967. From that moment she devoted her life and her home to her family.

In July of 2000, Lois and Rich tragically lost their son David in an accident. Their devastation was only eased by their two grandsons who lived next door and offered solace for them. Over the years, Rich and Lois along with their daughter-in-law Linda and Cody and Dylan formed an even stronger family dynamic which strengthened their bond and allowed them all to lean on each other.
Lois is now with her beloved Rich and David whom she’s missed so dearly for quite some time.

She leaves behind her Grandsons, Cody Eggert and his Girlfriend Stephanie of Quakertown and Dylan Eggert and his Fiancé Jenna of Quakertown. She also leaves behind her Daughter-in-law, Linda (Bennett) Eggert and her Partner Jay of Quakertown; Brother-in-law, Leo Skalski who was preceded in death by his wife and Lois’ much loved sister, Barbara; Nephew, Robert Skalski and his partner Angela; brother-in-law Edward Eggert and his wife Connie; Sister-in-law Rosemary Deren and husband Joe as well as many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

There will be a private luncheon to celebrate Lois’ life on October 1st at noon. Please see Linda’s Facebook page for details.
