Bryan E. Monahan

Bryan E. Monahan, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was the beloved husband to Lisa Mack Monahan of 32 years.

Born in Abington on July 30, 1961, Bryan was the son of the late Joseph and Nancy Franklin Monahan.

Bryan was employed at Sharp Corporation, headquartered in Allentown, PA, for 40 years. In recent years, he was a vital member of their sales force, where he excelled in building and maintaining relationships. He was a great teammate and mentor who put a smile on the face of everyone he met.

In his spare time, Bryan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Highlights include many sporting events, including tailgating and attending Eagles’ games with his oldest son, Shane, and watching his youngest son, Colin, play college soccer. He was extremely proud of his sons and loved them beyond words.

In addition, Bryan enjoyed spending time at the Jersey shore, watching movies and mowing the lawn. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Along with his wife Lisa, Bryan is survived by his children, Shane Monahan and his fiancée Danielle Marks of Skippack, Colin Monahan of Perkasie; siblings, Annemarie Gibilante and her husband Jake, Colleen Mistretta and her husband Tony, Joe Monahan, and Rob Monahan and his wife Kim, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Bryan’s family on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 10:00am until his funeral mass at 12:00pm at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927. Interment will take place immediately following the mass at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
