Sandra "Sandy" L. Ciaccio

Sandra L. “Sandy” Ciaccio, 77, of Schwenksville, previously of Doylestown, went home to the Lord on April 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry M. Ciaccio.  Born December 16, 1946 in Philadelphia, she is the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Lord) Thornton.

Along with her husband, Sandy is survived by her four children, Kimberley Graffeo, Kelly Brown (Robert), Michael Ciaccio (Desiree), and Nicole Ciaccio; and seven grandchildren, Paulie, Johnny, Katie, Bubbie, Mikey, Jack, and Cooper; and two brothers, Richard Thornton, Jr. and Richard Schwartz (Salli).  Sandy was preceded in death by her grandson, Timmy.

With a giving nature and magnetic smile, Sandy touched the lives around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Devoted to her family, she made many lives beautiful, often to the joy of her growing family. Throughout her life, Sandy embodied kindness and compassion. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, leaving an unforgettable mark on the hearts of family and friends alike. Her legacy of endless love will be cherished and missed by all who were blessed to know her.  

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:30 am with a Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Interment to follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandra’s name can be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis , TN 38105.
