Walter J. Bausch Sr.

Walter J. Bausch, Sr., 96, of Yardley, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. He was the beloved husband to the late Lorraine Wunder Bausch.

Born January 19, 1928 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the Walter Joseph and Agnes Kerr Bausch.

Walter was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bristol, PA. There he served as a Sunday school teacher and Mission Board Member. Vocationally, he was an outstanding salesman, receiving several coveted milestone awards. Walter also, started his own automobile business. He and his wife Lorraine enjoyed global travel to many foreign destinations. He was a talented and accomplished amateur athlete, especially golf and baseball. Walter was a great example of graciousness, generosity and genuine to his family and friends.

Walter is survived by his children, Walter J. Bausch, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Levittown, David W. Bausch and his wife Maureen of Jamison, Karen L. Nizar and her husband Howard of Bakersfield CA; grandchildren, Adam Bausch, Antoinette Bausch, Alison Leigh Bausch, Bradley Bausch, Jonathan Bausch (Cara), Jonathan Nizar (Krystal), Christina and Jessica Nizar; great-grandchildren; Julianna & Jack Bausch, Luke and Micah Bausch and Isaiah, Evan and Caleb Nizar.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Committal Service with Military Honors on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. Please arrive at the Administration Building by 9:45am to join the family for the Committal Services.
