Robert J. Goldman

Robert J. Goldman, of Harrogate, United Kingdom, and formerly of Southampton, PA, died peacefully on March 29, 2022.  He was 84.

He was the beloved husband of Kathleen le Sueur and the late Barbara Goldman (nee Schramm).

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Paul and Catherine Post Curtin Goldman.

Bob was a Research Chemist, spending the vast majority of his 45-year career with Rohm and Haas. Outside of work, he was an active participant in Boy Scouts and Little League Baseball with his sons. Later in life he traveled the world, proud of being at home only half the time.

Bob is survived by his loving and devoted sons, Robert Goldman and his wife, Shelby Erb, of Northumberland, PA, and Phillip Goldman and his wife, Lynne Tauer, of Dayton, MN; his sister, Julia Person; and his brother, Philip Goldman. He was predeceased by his sister, Dolores Connelly.

Robert’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until his Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116.  His interment will be on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Bailey Rd., Yeadon, PA 19050.
