Karen D. Weisenberger (Schumann)

Karen Seveland-Weisenberger (nee Schumann) of Bensalem died on March 30, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. She passed peacefully at her daughter’s home in Richboro, surrounded by family. Raised in the Normandy section of Philadelphia, she attended George Washington High School. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy McClintock and the late Kenneth Schumann.

Karen was a fun-loving, kind-hearted, happy-go-lucky person who lived life on her own terms.  She loved the simple things in life and enjoyed dancing, traveling, and going down the shore. She had a deep faith in Christ and loved singing at church on Sundays.

She is survived by her four children: Sherri (Michael) Davis of Richboro, Joni Seveland (Jeremy) of Holland, Albert (Sharyn) Weisenberger of Warminster, and Christopher (Robin) Weisenberger of Croydon, and her ten grandchildren Julian, Jacob, Kaityn, Grace, Ryan, Marissa, Ariana, J.R., Kyla and Austin. She is also survived by her sisters Deborah Schumann-Perez of Philadelphia, Dawn Hogg-Leigh of Rockledge, and brother Ken (Kathy) Schumann of Souderton. She will also be sadly missed by her lifelong friend Dawn Noggle and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Lori Hogg-Macrine.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road, (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association, Inc. 912 Killian Hill Road S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.
