Regina Yuscavage (Yacalavitch)

Regina Yuscavage passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at Brookdale Senior Living, Dublin. She was 91.

Born January 6, 1931, in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Yacalavitch Yuscavage, and the partner of the late Dorothy McCormick, with whom she shared many years until her passing in 1989.

They traveled together, loved cruises to the islands and Mexico. Enjoyed gardening, golfing, loved watching tennis matches. Also liked to bake. Gina was the baker and Dorothy was the chef.

She loved her dog Snowball who was her faithful companion to both her and Dorothy.

She was a Federal Government employee in Washington DC for over 30 years. Was an officer and member of NARF, National Association for Retired Federal Employees. member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, both in New Port Richey, Florida.

Regina is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her partner and parents, she is preceded in passing by: brothers John Yuscavage, Joseph Yuscavage, and Albert Yuscavage; and sisters Helen Taylor, Frances Lengel, Alice Hawley, Mary Froitzheim, and Eleanor Bannert.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Regina’s family at her visitation on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 10:00 AM, until her funeral service at 11:00 AM, at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd), New Britain, PA 18901. Interment will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison St., New Port Richey, FL 34652.
