George MacConnell Jr.

George MacConnell, Jr of Langhorne, PA, living currently in Gainesville Florida died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.  He was 67.

He was the beloved husband of 43 years to Margaret “Maggie” Leary MacConnell.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Rosemary Reed MacConnell.

In addition to his beloved wife Maggie, George is survived by his loving and devoted daughters; Kathleen “Katie” MacConnell of Maryville, TN and Kristen Loomis and her husband Cody of Newberry, FL.  He is also survived by his two grandchildren Bailey and Cody George Jr., his brother James MacConnell (Sherre), his sister Constance Roth and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

George’s family will receive friends on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 10:00am until his Memorial Mass 11:00AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road Holland, PA 18966.  His interment will be private in Our Lady of Grace at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Contributions in his memory may be made to St Jude’s Hospital.
