Thomas J. Stoeckle Sr

Thomas J. Stoeckle, Sr. of Holland, died peacefully on Friday January 14, 2022, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 91.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved husband of the late Mary L. (nee Mullin) who died in 2003, and Stella C. (nee Mirecki), who died in 2014. He was son of the late Wilbert A. and Florence B. (nee Steigerwald) Stoeckle.

Tom was a graduate of North Catholic High School, class of 1948, where he was a Scholar Athlete in the Catholic League in Basketball and Baseball. He attended St. Joseph’s University, but found his calling in sales and communication with Diamond Furniture of Philadelphia, retiring as Executive Vice President after 50 plus years of service.

Tom was blessed to have 2 wonderful wives during his life. They both brought him love and happiness. He loved to travel, was an avid golfer and looked forward to going to the Jersey Shore with family. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and great sense of humor.

Tom is survived by his devoted children: Thomas J. and his wife Eileen, Deborah M. King and her husband John, Robert C. and his wife Teresa and Michael W. and his wife Ericka. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

His services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
