Lawrence "Larry" Olson

Lawrence E. "Larry" Olson, of Chalfont, PA died on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Doylestown Hospital. He was 70.

He was the loving husband of Steven Friese.

Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Bert and Sonya Haussler Olson. Raised in Ft. Lauderdale Florida and Frankfurt Germany

Larry worked in the life sciences industry, and was a leader in global market access and payer strategy. He earned his PhD in sociology from the University of Southern California, MBA in marketing and finance from the University of California, Los Angeles, and BA in sociology and marketing from Northwestern University.

Larry was known for his love of travel and adventure, sense of humor, passion for his career, and fun and loving personality. He was a captain of sailboats and sailed the Caribbean and Greece. His favorite island is Mustique.

He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

In addition to his husband, Steven, he is survived by his siblings; Eric and Craig Olson; sister, Kristy Olson; nieces, nephew and great nephew.  He is also survived by his step mother, Sally Olson.

His service and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The National Kidney Foundation, Philadelphia and Delaware Valley Chapter, 1500 Walnut Street, Suite 301, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
