Gerard "Jerry" Cosimo

Gerard Cosimo, (Jerry) of Palmerton, PA died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Gerard was 61years of age.

Born in Jersey City, NJ Gerard was the beloved son of the late Jerry R. and Janet A. Giordano Cosimo.

Gerard attended Council Rock High School in Newtown, PA and immediately afterwards entered an apprenticeship program at ARC Manufacturing Company in Feasterville. Gerard worked with his father there and became an accomplished tool maker with top security clearance. After working many years in his field he eventually moved from Bucks County to Sunny Rest Resort in Palmerton. There he started a business repairing and selling golf carts and was affectionately known as "Golf Cart Jerry".

Gerard could fix practically anything and had a passion for cars in particular. He was a lover of anything Ford, and was lucky enough to own a beautiful new Mustang before he passed. That car put a permanent smile on his face!

Gerard is survived by his loving and devoted sisters: Lisa Uhlman and her wife Susan Buckland of Perkasie and Laura Cosimo, also of Perkasie.  In addition, Gerard is survived by his nieces Kelsey and Kristen as well as many dear friends, particularly at Sunny Rest.

A celebration of Gerard’s life will be held at Sunny Rest Resort in June.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
