Theresa B. Cassel (DiCrecchio)

Theresa B. Cassel of Chalfont died at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.  She was 90.

She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley W. Cassel, the loving mother of the late Karen T. Cassel and the dear great grandmother of the late Katie Gane.

Born in Secane, PA Theresa was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Forte DiCrecchio.

Theresa was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She and her husband Stan founded and continued to operate for over 40 years the Stan Cassel Greenhouses.  Theresa enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, and traveling both domestically and internationally, but she truly cherished times spent with her family.  Theresa will be greatly missed, but eternally remembered and loved by everyone who had the pleasure to have been in her life and loved by her.

Theresa is survived by her two loving daughters: Ida Jean Hatter and her husband Michael of Chalfont and Stacie Joy Hoffman and her husband Michael of Perkasie.  She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Tina Gane, Alison McDonald, Michael Hoffman, and Thomas Hoffman and her two great grandchildren: Madison and Ashley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00AM in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street Hilltown, PA 18927.  Her interment will take place privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimers Disease Research Foundation, 34 Washington St. Suite 310 Wellesley Hills, MA 02481 or to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, 733 Third Ave. Suite 510 New York, NY 10017.
