Inge Schmid, 85, of Holland, PA, died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Germany, Inge was the daughter of the late William and Clara Maier and had been a resident of Holland for the past 59 years.

Inge was the wife of the late George Schmid. She is survived by her devoted children Barbara (Wayne), Mark (Lisa), Glenn (Linda), and Deborah (William). Inge was preceded in death by her brother, Eric (Elinor). Inge is survived by her loving sister Susan (Albert). In addition, she is survived by her dear grandchildren Wayne (Cherie), Nicole, Danielle, Ashley, Andrew, Alex and Jessica, as well as her six great-grandchildren Nicholas, Kellan, Lukas, Kamryn, Rylan and Eliza.

Inge enjoyed many years with George in their Pocono Mountain house with family and friends.

Inge loved to travel, and was active in the Northampton Senior Center and was a lifetime member of the Phoenix Sport Club in Feasterville. Inge was involved with making meals for those in need through Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House.

When she could not be found it was presumed she was at her “job” which involved breaking even at the local casinos.

Ingeborg’s family will receive condolences at her visitation on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 8:30 am until her funeral service at 10:00 am, at Joseph A. Fluehr lll Funeral Home – 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd (at Holland Rd), Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge.
