Regina Marie Joyce (Dowd)

Regina Marie Joyce died on December 25, 2021 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA, surrounded by her children. She was 85 years old.

Regina was the beloved wife of the late Edward John Joyce. The couple had been married for 42 years before Edward’s death in 2000.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Regina was the daughter of the late Thomas and Regina Gallagher Dowd. She was the mother of the late Baby Catherine Joyce, Baby Joyce, and Eileen Joyce; she is the sister of the late Patricia Heally.

Regina will be missed by her children, Edward and Rebecca Joyce, Regina Joyce and Terrance P Joyce and her grandchildren, Micaela Joyce, Caitlin Joyce-Lutzko, Keighley Joyce-Clementi, Brendan Joyce, Connor Joyce, Garrett Joyce and Trinity Joyce. She will be remembered by her sister Mary Adele Gallagher and her nieces and nephews, Paul Gallagher, Thomas Gallagher, Megan Gallagher-Logan and Erin Gallagher.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Regina on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 10:00 am until the start of her Funeral Mass, 11:00 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road in Newtown, PA 18940. Joyce’s interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, Regina’s family would appreciate Mass Cards.
