Joseph V. Corsello

Joseph V. Corsello, 82, of Holland, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 surrounded by family and their love. He was the beloved husband of Angela (Fiordimondo) Corsello.

Born June 2, 1939 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Lanciano) Corsello. Joseph graduated from Southern High School in Philadelphia and went on to Drexel University where he achieved his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He also achieved his Master’s Degree at Drexel.

Joseph enjoyed the Philadelphia sports teams and going to the games with his family. Every summer found him outdoors with family and friends by the pool. He spent many hours playing cards with his kids, but he really loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Angela, Joseph is survived by his three children, Kathleen Kustra of Philadelphia, Joseph R. Corsello (Rita) of Glen Mills, and Lisa Miernicki (John) of Newtown; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Robert. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Corsello.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 10:00 to 10:45 am Friday, December 17, 2021 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA with the funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am. His interment will take place at Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

Contributions in lieu of flowers, can be made in Joseph’s name to St. Bede the Venerable Church. The family would like to extend their thanks to Kindred Hospice for their kindness and compassion during Joseph’s illness.
