Helen M. Barrett (Borek)

Helen M Borek Barrett, age 95, of Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully on December 6, 2021.  Daughter of the late Leon and Mary (Swirat) Borek.  Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Joseph C. Barrett (1999).  Sister of the late Joseph Borek.  She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Leo and Catherine Glass Barrett, Lewis and the late Sherry Barrett, Charles Barrett, Matthew and Ann Victoria Barrett, Mary Barrett, Patrick Barrett and Kevin Mayhew, and Philip Barrett.  Grandchildren Melissa and Kevin Jeiven, Abigail Marie Barrett, Joseph V. Barrett, Megan Mayhew and Sarah Mayhew.  Nephews Leo Borek and John Borek.  Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 5:30 until her memorial service at 7:00 P.M. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro.  An additional viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 A.M. Saturday, December 18, 2021 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland.  Internment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to Paul’s Run Retirement Community, www.Paulsrun.org .
