Faith L. Wenstrup (Schultz)

Faith Laurel Wenstrup (Schultz) of Media, PA., formerly of Southampton, died peacefully on Friday November 19, 2021 at Wesley Enhanced Living, Main Line. She was 83.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Ida Rupertus Schultz and sister of the late Robert Schultz.

Faith was a devoted mother, grandmother and doting great grandmother. She was married and a mother at a young age, a hard working woman who believed in family, always working hard to help out.

Living with her parents, raising her first born Joy while her husband was in the service. When Jim Wenstrup was discharged in 1956 from the Army they bought a home in Upper Southampton. Then came along Keith and Brian. Faith was a hard working homemaker who worked part time at a toy packaging company in Warminster.

As her children got older and were in school Faith started working for Council Rock School District driving a large school bus for over 6 years, after that she worked as an assistant on buses that cared for Special needs children till 2017, a position that she loved and had many special stories about all the children that she loved so much.  She retired at the age of 78.

Faith loved warm weather and sunny weather, and actually lived in Florida for about 5 years and enjoyed traveling with her friends to tropical places. When she moved back to Pennsylvania, she got a condo in Southampton which her family completely renovated and she just loved it.

Family came first and foremost she cherished Sunday dinners at her children’s homes and loved being called “GG”, she will be missed but never forgotten.  “Mom we Love You”

Faith is survived by her devoted children: Joy Dannenberg and her husband Bill of West Chester, Brian Wenstrup and his wife Jill of Ivyland and Keith Wenstrup and his husband Rubin Irizarry of Oakland, NJ., and sister-in-law of Rose Schultz.  “GG” is survived by Kevin Dannenberg, Julie Dannenberg, Greg Dannenberg (Brittany), Christopher Wenstrup (Glynnis), Michael Wenstrup (Victoria) and Sarah Antolick (Brian) and Great “GG” to Lillianna Wenstrup.

Faith’s family will receive condolences on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 1:00pm until her Prayer Service at 2:30 pm, at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd (at Holland Rd), Richboro, PA 18954.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Special Olympics of Bucks County, P O Box 317 Bristol, PA 19007.
