Charles Scary

Charles “Buddy” Scary of Ivyland died peacefully, surrounded by his loving and devoted family in his home on Friday, November 19, 2021. He was 66.

Buddy was the beloved husband of Stefanie Pomfret Scary. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Catherine

Gallagher Scary.

Buddy was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast who enjoyed be-bopping around town with his wife. Other things he loved included going to the gym, Krav Maga, spending time in OCNJ with friends and family, and cheering on his grandkids.

In addition to his beloved wife Stefanie, Buddy is survived by his loving children, Brian Scary of Philadelphia, PA, Jaclyn Orwig and her husband Rob of Holland, PA, Thomas Scary and his wife Ankita of Boston, MA, and Krista Scary of Jacksonville Beach, FL. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Ryder, Raegan, Ridge, Robert, Brielle, and Brian; his siblings, Joan, Tom, Jimmy, Cathy, and Marybeth, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday evening, November 26, 2021, from 6:00-8:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954, and on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 West Street Rd. Warminster, PA 18974, from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass at 11:00am. His interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Buddy Scary Memorial Fund through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
