Richard A. Martin

Richard A. Martin passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Doylestown Hospital. He was 90.

Born February 16, 1931, in Canton, OH, he was the son of the late Leo A and Margaret Elizabeth Ackerman Martin, and the widower of the late Margaret B. Lewis Martin, to whom he was married 66 years until her passing in 2016.

Richard enjoyed fishing and crabbing, playing the stock market, and sharing lunch with his many friends at the Bucks County Senior Center.

Richard is survived by: children Lisa A. Martin, Richard A. Martin Jr., Kenneth Martin and his wife Donna, Craig Martin, Tammy Thompson and her husband Ron, Scott Martin and his girlfriend Mary Shaw; as well as 13 beloved grandchildren, 5 adored great grandchildren and 1 cherished great-great grandchild. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in passing by brother Thomas Martin.

Services and interment will be held privately.

Contributions in Richard’s name may be made to Doylestown Hospital.
