Frank Sceno

Frank P. Sceno, of Chalfont, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  He was 89.

He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Woods Sceno, who passed away in 2005.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Mary Cicozzi Sceno and father of the late Francis Sceno and brother of the late Vincent Sceno.

Frank or better known as “Poppy” to many was the mayor of every neighborhood where he resided. His favorite past time was socializing with friends.  Frank enjoyed eating breakfast out of the house and would prefer to eat cake over dinner. He loved taking long car rides in Pennsylvania and the East Coast, taking in the scenery as he drove along the highway. He was also a train enthusiast and would prefer to go on vacation by train instead of plane. Frank loved music and was an advocate of the Amazon Echo, listening to the Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra and Frankie Valley daily. He enjoyed watching classic movies from the 40’s, 50’s. Most of all, Frank was a believer in his Catholic faith and prayed the Rosary twice daily.

He is survived by his three children, Dawn McDonald and her husband Jon of Chalfont, Marc Sceno and his wife Roseann of Springfield, and Mary Ann Sheller and her husband Anthony of Philadelphia.  He is also survived by his six grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on from 9:30am to 10:45am, Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927, with the funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am. His interment will take place immediately following in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
