Magdalena Schaeffer (Totterman)

Magdalena “Helen” Schaeffer (nee Tottermann) of Holland, PA passed away November 10, 2021, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin and her parents Katerina and Jacob Tottermann.

She is survived by her children, Helen Ramsey and her husband Frank, Trudy Kopenhaver and her late husband Greg and Richard Schaeffer and his wife Liz; six grandchildren, Frank, Kristy, Greg, Kim, Devon and Erika. She was also blessed to have twelve great grandchildren, Madison, Michael, Brianna, Ashlynne, Joya, Travis, Brayden, Matthew, Greg Jr., Clara, Austin and Brooklynne.

Helen was a wonderful cook and baker. She always took pride inside her home, as well as her property.

She loved her precious Maltese, Trixie, who brought her so much joy. Helen was a true animal lover and enjoyed watching the numerous birds come to the feeders outside her window.

Her kindness was also appreciated by family and her neighbors with whom she shared her baked goods.

Relatives and friends may greet Helen’s family on Wednesday, November, 17, 2021 from 10:30 am, until the start of her Funeral Mass, 11:30 am at St. Bede the Venerable Church at 1071 Holland Road in Holland, PA 18966. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Fund at 501 St. Jude Place in Memphis, TN 38105, or online at www.stjude.org
