Patrick "Pat" Scanlon

Patrick ‘Pat’ Scanlon, an automotive mechanic from Perkasie, PA, passed away suddenly on November 8, 2021 at the age of 63 with his family by his side at Doylestown Hospital. Pat was born on September 15, 1958 in Bristol, Pa. He graduated from Council Rock High School in 1976.

Pat is survived by his mother, Joan Scanlon (Price); his former spouse and mother of his children, Elizabeth Scanlon; his children, Pat Scanlon, Bret Scanlon, Amanda Fronheiser and her spouse Ryan Fronheiser, Brittany Lynn Roberts and her spouse Jared Roberts; his grandchildren, Lincoln and Killian Patrick Roberts; his siblings Michael Scanlon and his spouse Terry Scanlon, Mary Ellen Scanlon, Kathy Sanders, Joanne Schaefer and her spouse Doug Schaefer; as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, William Scanlon; his sister, Christine Witte and her spouse Ron Witte; and his brother-in-law Doug Sanders.

Pat loved all things automotive. If it had a motor, he knew how to fix it. He enjoyed drag racing cars and motorcycles and was a NASCAR enthusiast. He was a selfless man who would do anything to help anyone in need. Pat leaves behind a family who he truly loved with all his heart and will be sorely missed by all.

Pat’s family will receive friends on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 4:00Pm until the sharing of words of remembrance at 7:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain, PA 18901.  His interment will be private.

In his last selfless act on earth, Pat was an organ donor. His donation was made to Gift of Life Donor Program prior his cremation.

His family would like to recognize and give thanks to the emergency medical team at Doylestown Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
