Frank V. Mendicino

Frank V. Mendicino of Perkasie, PA died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 3, 2021 while on a family trip to Orlando, FL. He was 58 years old.

Born on June 24, 1963 in Philadelphia, PA, Frank was the loving father of Kaitlin Mendicino and Frankie Mendicino. He was also the beloved Dog Dad to Crichton, Cedric and the late Cena, who passed in March.

The family’s three Labrador Retrievers meant the world to Frank. He enjoyed everything that came with owning dogs and would often share his spot on the couch with them. The dogs did not go one day without seeing Frank and enjoying the routines they shared. Frank did everything with his boys.  To Frank, they weren’t just dogs, they were family.

Frank was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He would often call in to the local sports radio to discuss the latest news. Some of Frank’s fondest memories include attending as many games as he could with his son. They shared the most enjoyment for the Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers.

Frank found a lot of fun in driving down to Orlando, FL twice a year with his children and dogs. He often said it felt like his Kia Telluride was turned into his living room on wheels as he drove down I-95. He was a fan of everything Walt Disney World and enjoyed dining at his favorite restaurants, being immersed in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and shopping for the latest merchandise with his daughter.

Frank found his passion in the automotive industry at a young age. Starting as a shop mechanic, Frank worked his way up to becoming a well known and respected Service Manager. Frank loved his career. There was not one thing he wouldn’t do for the people he worked with. Frank always said his successes would not have happened without his team.

Friends and relatives are welcome to greet Frank’s family on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 12 noon until the start of his Memorial Tribute at 2 p.m. at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will be private.
