Jesse F. King, Jr.
Jesse F. King, Jr., 55, of Holland, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was at home surrounded by his family who adored him beyond measure.
Jesse was the beloved husband of Mary T. (Corcoran) King. Born in Philadelphia, Jesse was the loving son of the late Jesse F. King, Sr. and is survived by his mother Grace (Jones) King. In addition, Jesse leaves an amazing legacy of memories and wisdom to his children, Andrew King and Alyssa George (Peter), and the joy of his life, his grandson, Peter George IV. He is also survived by his siblings: Patti King (Toby), Kevin King (Jeanne) and Vicki Fafel (Steve); in-laws: Eileen Bermingham, Margaret Corcoran-Magis, William Corcoran, Chris Corcoran (Elena); along with his many nieces and nephews.
An avid traveler, Jesse especially loved the beach, having lived in St. Thomas, Hawaii, and Florida in earlier years. Despite a grueling treatment schedule, Jesse continued to travel and was able to see the world as well as his favorite Jersey beaches. Jesse was a true Philly sports fan and loved to wager on the games. He also enjoyed Baccarat and real estate.
Jesse was the sole proprietor of Royal Carpet Care for over 20 years. He was a loyal friend, an incredible provider and one of the most genuine and candid people you would ever meet.
Jesse’s Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Bucks County Community Church, 1249 West Maple Avenue in Langhorne, PA 19047. The family will have visitation at 12:30 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please extend some kindness in memory of Jesse: take a homebound senior citizen out for lunch (and tip the staff generously!), buy a kid a toy or take them to a sports game, take time to appreciate the sunrise or sunset and go to the beach as often as you can.
A special thank you to the amazing staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering who cared for Jesse over the past 6 years.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12
