Nancy Worthington (Cushman)

Nancy Worthington passed away on Saturday November 6, 2021 peacefully in her sleep.  She was 99 years old.

Born March 11, 1922 in Melrose, MA, she was the daughter of Roy and Helen Merrill Cushman.  After graduating from Melrose H. S. she attended Smith College and went on to receive her Masters Degree in Social Work from Simmons College.  After marrying, she moved to Princeton NJ and in 1972, she started Corner House, A Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center.   

Nancy is survived by her daughter Janice Sullivan and grandson Mark Sullivan.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in passing by her first husband Edward F. Gryzbek, second husband Milton G. White, and third husband Jack Worthington, as well as her sister Jane Scott.
