Rosemary Perrine Nicholas

Rosemary Perrine (nee Nicholas) of Quakertown, PA died peacefully while being surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Grand View Hospital. She was 80.

She was the beloved wife of 57 years to Kevin J. Perrine Sr.  Born in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Weber Nicholas and was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Nicholas.

Rosemary was a graduate of St. Mary’s Assumption School, Scranton, PA.  Her career was spent working in various administrative positions where she retired after 25 years of service from the Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority.  She loved film, especially those nominated for the Oscars, theater, traveling and was an avid reader. Rosemary was a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan, in particular a love for the Sixers and Dr. J. Her enthusiasm for sports was evident by her attendance at her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities. She was also passionate about her philanthropy to those causes close to her heart, such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Special Olympics. 

In addition to her husband, she will be forever loved and missed by her children Kevin (Melissa) Perrine Jr., David (Patricia) Perrine and Elizabeth (Ronald) Bean.  She is also survived by her seven loving grandchildren who were the light of her life; Alexandra (Eric) Mueth, Sammantha Perrine, Christian Perrine, Nicholas Perrine, Jake Perrine, Drew Bean, Adam Bean and her one great-granddaughter, Madelyn Mueth.  She is also survived by her cousins Sister Rosamund, S.C.C., Richard Eibach and Susan Ormiston.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Rosemary’s life, on December 11, 2021, at a church service from 11am -11:30am followed by a Celebration of Life gathering. The service and celebration will be held at St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA 18944. Her interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, PO Box 7410354 Chicago, IL 60674-0354 or the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania, 2570 Boulevard of the Generals #124, Norristown, PA 19403.
