Alice M. Hoffer (Steiler)

Alice Marguerite Hoffer, formally a resident of North Wales, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her entire family on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. She was 85 years old.

Born February 28, 1936 in Dumont, Bergen County, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Joseph John and Alice Marguerite Storkey Steiler.

She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She worked as a secretary until retiring to become a full time Nana.

Alice is survived by her children, Steven Kenneth Hoffer and his wife Danielle, Susan Gail Salvaggio and her husband John, Eric George Hoffer and his wife Jennifer, and Karen Jean Montana and her husband Nick; her sister, Jean Omstead; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Douglas and Joseph Steiler, and her former husband Kenneth Hugh Hoffer.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Alice’s family at a visitation from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd), New Britain, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
