Dennis Abalov

It is with deepest sadness that we inform you of the death of a beloved husband, son and friend, Dennis Abalov who died peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He had just turned 40 years old.

Dennis was the beloved husband of 13 years to Anna Koldakova.

Born in Moscow Dennis was the loving son of Larisa Kharlamova and the late Gregory V. Abalov.

Dennis was a Senior Scrum Master at Cerner Corporation.  He enjoyed traveling around the world with his loving wife, entertaining and dining with his family and friends, spending time in Poconos and boating on the Delaware River. Dennis had a big, warm heart with a goofy sense of humor which everyone loved. He was always the life of the party and was devoted to his family and friends whom he loved dearly. He was always there for his family and friends whenever they needed his help. Dennis was a huge Eagles fan and no matter how bad they played which was most of the time, he never gave up on them. Dennis was always optimistic and saw positive in everything and in everyone. He was a smart, intelligent, funny, hard working, handy guy who loved life, loved his work, loved his family and friends and more than anything loved his cats. He will be greatly missed, but eternally loved and remembered by everyone who had the pleasure to have been a part of his life and loved by him.

In addition to his wife Anna and his mother Larisa, Dennis is survived by his sister Karina Abalov of Brooklyn, NY and his grandmother Zinaiada Shamina Abalova.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 10:00AM until his Divine Funeral Liturgy 12:00PM at St. Andrew’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 707 North 5th Street Philadelphia, PA 19123.  His interment will take place at 2:00 PM at Union Cemetery 209 Almshouse Road Richboro, PA 18954.
