Patrick J. Adams

Patrick J. Adams, of Ivyland, PA died on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. He was 74. He was the beloved husband of Susan E. Hall Adams for 54 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late James J. and M. Beatrice Risbin Adams.

Patrick graduated from LaSalle University with a degree in Finance, and was a jack of all trades. Above all else, Patrick was devoted to his family. His character will endure through the legacies he has left in them. Patrick was the creator of many traditions for his family; from holiday festivities where everyone relished his fabulous cooking or gathered around for elaborately presented joke gifts, to simple gestures like special greetings and nicknames for loved ones. He was always involved with home improvement projects, enlisting family members of all ages as his assistants, imparting his knowledge while having fun. An avid Eagles fan, Pat never missed an opportunity to watch a game with his family. He will be remembered as always coming to the rescue in times of need, for inside jokes and small acts of thoughtfulness. Pat always prioritized making sure his family knew he loved them and would do anything for them.

In addition to his loving wife, Patrick is survived by his two children; Jennifer M. Haslam and her husband T.J. of Phoenixville, PA and Matthew P. Adams and his wife Ashley of Ivyland; two sisters, Beatrice  McCormack of Villas, NJ and Marie P. Hughes and her husband Christopher of Blue Bell, PA; and four grandchildren; Thomas Joseph Haslam III and his wife Emma, Cullen James Haslam and his fiancé Casey Russell, Evan M. Adams and Claire E. Adams.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 10:30AM until his Funeral Service, 11:30AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Road) Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will be held privately.
