Alan D. Stasson

Alan Dean Stasson passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Born September 7, 1959, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alexander and Anna Hackert Stasson, and the husband of Lisa Ann Dreyer, to whom he was married 9 years.

In addition to his wife Lisa, Alan is survived by daughter Ann Stasson (Kolman), and her husband Bernard Kolman; son Daniel Stasson; and stepdaughters Olivia Vozzella and Victoria Dreyer.  Loving Grandpop to Liam and Rocco.

Alan was prominent in the real estate community.  He took over a small office 29 years ago and made it one of the top offices in the Philadelphia area, RE/MAX Affiliates N.E.  His dedication and care for his agents was evident and he is the reason why they became the “RE/MAX family.”  He led a life of service by consistently being active in his parishes, St. Katherine of Siena and St. Bede the Venerable Church, a member of the Men of Malvern and the Knights of Columbus.

Alan loved going to the movies.  He would go to the movies every Friday afternoon.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife and relaxing down the Jersey shore in Atlantic City.  He loved singing at Church and was previously a part of a Christian rock band, Faith Looks Up.  He will forever be known for his kind and compassionate spirit.

As he would often say, “Man makes plans and God laughs”

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Alan’s family at his viewing on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM, followed by Words of Remembrance at 11:55 AM, then his funeral mass at 12:00 PM, at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Children’s Miracle Network, www.childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/donate.
