Beatrice Y. Baisley (Anderson)

Beatrice Y. Baisley, 90, of Newtown, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Arthur R. Baisley, Jr.

Born August 4, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Olof J. and Bertha (Kunz) Anderson.

For many years Beatrice worked at the Hartt Insurance Agency in Northport, Long Island, NY. She relocated with her husband to Holland, PA from St. James, Long Island to be closer to her grandsons. Beatrice was an excellent gardener, enjoyed bird watching, doing arts and crafts, and, in later years, reading books. She loved vacationing in Cape May, NJ with her grandsons, and was ecstatic to be able to hold her first great-grandchild.

Along with her husband, Arthur, Beatrice is survived by two children, Karin Y. Downs (Martin) and Kevin R. Baisley (Angie); two grandsons, Ryan A. Downs (Megan) and Collin R. Downs; and a great-granddaughter, Kailey Shay Downs.
