Joseph A. Persichetti DMD

Joseph A. Persichetti, DMD of New Hope and formerly of Holland, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 7, 2021.  He was 75.

He was the beloved husband of 43 years to MaryAnn Donato Persichetti.

Born in Philadelphia, Joseph was the son of the late Arthur and Anna Milici Persichetti.

Dr. Persichetti received his undergraduate education, his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry, and his specialized training and education in Orthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania.  He had practices in Holland and Washington Crossing and he was also a Professor of Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania.  Joseph enjoyed skiing, gardening, and the solace of reading, but he cherished time spent with his family at home or at the shore during the summer.  Joseph will be greatly missed, but eternally loved and remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

In addition to his wife MaryAnn, Joseph is survived by his loving and devoted children; Anna E. Huckaby and her husband Kevin of Manahawkin, NJ and Joseph A. Persichetti Jr. and his wife Pamela of Palmyra, NJ.  He is also survived by his brother Arthur Persichetti (Amy),his sister Bernadine Carickhoff(Robert) and his grandchildren Finley C. and Jaxson Huckaby.

Joseph’s family will receive friends on Tuesday,  October 12, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Wednesday,  October  13, 2021 at St. Andrew Catholic Church 81 Swamp Road Newtown, PA from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00AM.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
