Robert Lee Firestone

On Thursday, October 7, 2021, Robert Firestone passed away at the age of 97. He was a loving husband to his wife Marie and wonderful father to their three children, Bob Jr., Sue and Judy.

Robert was born on August 31, 1924 in DuPage Township, IL. He met Marie at the CB&Q Railroad in Chicago, IL. He worked as a Financial Manager at NBC Studios for over 30 years.

Robert enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas with Marie, along with vacationing at their Wrightwood Cabin in California. After moving to the east coast in 2002, he made every house a home by utilizing his trade of carpentry. He enjoyed a game of solitaire in the evening, sipping on his 2 vodka cranberries.

Robert loved spending time with his grandchildren Jimmy, Tracee, and Susie, and great-grandchildren, Landon, Colin, Vienna, Lyla, Charlee and Claire. The kids enjoyed all of Papa's holiday decorations and baked goods!

Robert and Marie shared 70 wonderful years together. So many lives have been touched by him, especially ours.
