Sally Lombardi (Cook)

A loving, vibrant and caring soul, Sally Ann Lombardi, longtime resident of Newtown, PA, died peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Brookdale of Northampton. She was 83 years old.

Sally was the beloved wife of the late Vincent A. Lombardi with whom she shared many happy years of laughter, family, fond memories of love through 53-plus years of marriage.

Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Hungerford Cook. Her family settled in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. She then taught in the Hamilton Township School District for nearly 35 years. The majority of her time teaching was at Reynolds middle school as a 7th grade math teacher. An avid cross-stitcher, she stitched beautiful and artistic gifts for family and friends. Also an avid reader, she was a member of several book clubs and knew the latest and greatest read. A doting grandmother to Antonio, she enjoyed family gatherings, meals, and a good crab cake.
